🔊 There is a pond in a village. Some boys are passing by the pond.
গ্রামে একটা পুকুর। কিছু ছেলে পুকুরের পাশ দিয়ে যাচ্ছিল।
🔊 Some frogs are playing in the water. The boys find some stones near the road.
ব্যাঙেরা পানিতে খেলছিল। ছেলেরা রাস্তায় পাথর পেলো।
🔊 Taking the stones they begin to throw them at the frogs. They are laughing and clapping.
তারা ব্যাঙদের দিকে পাথর ছুড়তে লাগলো, আর হাসতে লাগলো।
🔊 But their cruel play kills one of the frogs. The other frogs shout against the killing.
নিষ্ঠুর খেলায় একটা ব্যাঙ মারা গেলো।
🔊 A brave frog raises its head and cries out, "Stop! Stop!"
সাহসী এক ব্যাঙ মাথা তুলে চিৎকার করলো — থামো! থামো!
🔊 The boys say, "We are just playing." The frog says, "What is play to you is death to us."
ছেলেরা বললো — আমরা তো খেলছি! ব্যাঙ বললো — তোমাদের খেলা আমাদের মৃত্যু!
🔊 The boys become very sad. They say, "Sorry, dear Frog. We will never do it again."
ছেলেরা দুঃখ পেয়ে বললো — আর কখনো করব না।
🔊 Moral: What is play to one can be death to other.
শিক্ষা: একজনের খেলা অন্যের মৃত্যুর কারণ হতে পারে।
