সকাল না রাত — a.m. না p.m.?

📖 নিয়ম

a.m. (ante meridiem) = রাত ১২টা থেকে দুপুর ১২টার আগে পর্যন্ত। p.m. (post meridiem) = দুপুর ১২টা থেকে রাত ১২টার আগে পর্যন্ত। আর সময় বলতে: half past = সাড়ে, quarter past = সোয়া, quarter to = পৌনে।

9.00 a.m.

nine o'clock in the morning (সকাল ৯টা)

1.00 p.m.

one o'clock in the afternoon (দুপুর ১টা)

6.30 p.m.

half past six in the evening (সন্ধ্যা সাড়ে ৬টা)

10.00 p.m.

ten o'clock at night (রাত ১০টা)

• The programme will end by 12.30 p.m.
