📖 নিয়ম

আগে ঘটে যাওয়া কাজ বোঝাতে simple past tense। Regular verb-এ -ed/-d যোগ হয় (want→wanted)। কিছু verb নিয়ম মানে না — এরা irregular (buy→bought, go→went)। গঠন: Subject + verb-এর past form + বাকি অংশ।

Regular: verb + -ed

want→wanted, discuss→discussed, help→helped, pick→picked

Regular: verb + -d

agree→agreed, surprise→surprised, arrive→arrived, close→closed

Irregular

buy→bought, keep→kept, take→took, grow→grew, are→were, have→had, become→became

গঠন

I visited the zoo yesterday. · They went to the market.
