Class 6 — বিশেষণের প্রথম পরিচয়
Adjective কাকে বলে
Noun/Pronoun-এর গুণ বর্ণনা করা শব্দ
যে শব্দ noun বা pronoun-এর গুণ, সংখ্যা বা অবস্থা বর্ণনা করে তাকে Adjective বলে।
• Mr Haque is a happy man.
• He has an intelligent wife.
Adjective কোন শব্দকে বিশেষায়িত করছে চেনা
passage-এ underline করা adjective কোন noun/pronoun বোঝাচ্ছে খুঁজে বের করা
একটা passage-এ একাধিক adjective থাকলে প্রতিটা কোন noun/pronoun-কে বর্ণনা করছে তা বুঝে নিতে হয়।
• Their parents are proud of them. (proud → parents-এর অবস্থা)
Positive Degree
সাধারণ গুণ, তুলনা নেই
কোনো তুলনা ছাড়া সরাসরি গুণ বর্ণনা করলে Positive degree।
• Karim is a tall boy.
Comparative Degree
adjective+er+than (দুইজনের তুলনা)
দুইজনের মধ্যে তুলনা করলে adjective-এর শেষে er যোগ হয়, সাথে than।
• Karim is taller than Salam.
Superlative Degree
the+adjective+est (সবচেয়ে বেশি)
তিন বা তার বেশি জনের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে বেশি বোঝাতে the+adjective+est।
• Karim is the tallest boy in the class.
