My Opinion on Homework

Everyone has an opinion about homework, and here's mine: a small amount of homework helps students learn, but too much homework does more harm than good.

In my opinion, homework should reinforce what we learn in class, not replace class teaching altogether.

One reason is that after a full day of school, students need time to rest, spend time with family, and pursue their own interests.

Another reason is that too much homework often leads to copying rather than real learning, which defeats its whole purpose.

I understand some people believe more homework means more discipline, but discipline comes from consistency, not quantity.

That's why I believe schools should focus on giving shorter, more meaningful homework — quality over quantity, every single time.
