My point is that studying alone is usually more effective than studying in a group.
The reason I say this is that groups often turn into conversation instead of actual studying.
For example, last week my group spent an hour discussing a math problem for ten minutes and talking about a cricket match for fifty.
So, that's why I believe alone-time study, followed by a short group discussion just to check answers, works best.
