💡 টিপ: 'There' এবং 'Their' শোনায় একইরকম কিন্তু অর্থ আলাদা — এটা স্পষ্ট করুন যাতে ছাত্ররা confusion-এ না পড়ে।

'there' (দেয়ার) শোনায় 'their' (তাদের)-এর মতোই, কিন্তু 'there is/are' মানে 'আছে' — সম্পূর্ণ ভিন্ন অর্থ।

একটামাত্র জিনিস বা অগণনীয় (যেমন পানি, দুধ) কিছুর অস্তিত্ব বোঝাতে 'There is' ব্যবহার হয়।

Negative রূপ
There isn't / There aren't
না-বাচক করতে be-verb-এর সাথে 'not' যোগ হয়, সংক্ষিপ্ত রূপ বেশি প্রচলিত।
• There isn't any milk.
• There aren't any chairs.
প্রশ্ন করার নিয়ম
Is there...? / Are there...?
প্রশ্ন করতে 'there'-এর আগে be-verb চলে আসে।
• Is there a market nearby?
• Are there any questions?
⚠️ Common Mistakes
❌ It has a book on the table.
✅ There is a book on the table.
বাংলায় 'আছে' বোঝাতে 'has' ব্যবহার করে ফেলার প্রবণতা থাকে — কিন্তু অস্তিত্ব বোঝাতে ইংরেজিতে 'There is/are' ব্যবহার হয়, 'has' নয়।
❌ There is many students.
✅ There are many students.
'students' বহুবচন হওয়ায় 'are' লাগবে, 'is' নয়।
❌ There are a book.
✅ There is a book.
'a book' একবচন হওয়ায় 'is' লাগবে, 'are' নয়।

💡 টিপ: Round 3-এ singular/plural মিশিয়ে দিন যাতে ছাত্ররা প্রতিবার চিন্তা করে is/are বাছাই করে, মুখস্থভাবে না বলে।
Round 1 — There is + একবচন
প্রতিটা জিনিস বলার পর 'There is a/an [noun].' প্যাটার্নে বাক্য বলতে বলুন।
Round 2 — There are + বহুবচন
প্রতিটা জিনিস বলার পর 'There are [number] [noun]s.' প্যাটার্নে বাক্য বলতে বলুন।
Round 3 — মিশ্র is/are বাছাই
প্রতিটা cue বলার পর ছাত্রকে নিজে ঠিক করতে হবে is নাকি are বসবে।
