'If' (ইফ্) দিয়ে বাক্য শুরু হলে এই অংশটা একটু নিচু সুরে বলুন, তারপর কমা দিয়ে থামুন।
উদাহরণ: If it rains, I will stay home.

'I will' → 'I'll' (আইল্) — কথ্য ভাষায় সংক্ষিপ্ত রূপই বেশি স্বাভাবিক।
উদাহরণ: I'll stay home if it rains.

'you will' → 'you'll' (ইউল্)।
উদাহরণ: If you study, you'll pass.

💡 টিপ: বোর্ডে দুই অংশ আলাদা করে দেখান — 'If' অংশে (শর্ত) সবসময় Present Simple, আর ফলাফল অংশে 'will' — এই নিয়মটা কখনো বদলায় না।

মূল গঠন
If + Present Simple, will + base verb
বাস্তব ও সম্ভাব্য শর্ত এবং তার ফলাফল বোঝাতে if-clause-এ Present Simple এবং main clause-এ 'will' ব্যবহার হয়।
• If it rains, I will stay home.
• If you study, you will pass.
ক্রম বদলানো যায় (Comma-এর নিয়ম সহ)
If-clause + Main clause (comma সহ) · Main clause + if-clause (comma ছাড়া)
যদি 'if' clause আগে আসে, তাহলে কমা লাগে; কিন্তু main clause আগে আসলে কমা লাগে না।
• If it rains, I will stay home.
• I will stay home if it rains.
will-এর বদলে অন্য Modal
If + Present Simple, can/should/must + base verb
ফলাফল অংশে শুধু 'will' নয়, প্রয়োজন অনুযায়ী can/should/must-ও ব্যবহার করা যায়।
• If you study, you can pass.
• If you are tired, you should rest.
If-clause-এ Will ব্যবহার করা যাবে না

'if'-এর পরের অংশে কখনো 'will' ব্যবহার করা যাবে না, সবসময় Present Simple থাকবে।
• If it rains (NOT: If it will rain), I will stay home.

'if'-clause-এ কখনো 'will' ব্যবহার হয় না — সবসময় Present Simple ব্যবহার করতে হবে।
❌ If it rains, I stay home. (সাধারণ ভবিষ্যৎ ফলাফল বোঝাতে)
✅ If it rains, I will stay home.
একটা নির্দিষ্ট ভবিষ্যৎ ফলাফল বোঝাতে main clause-এ 'will' লাগবে — শুধু Present Simple দিলে ভিন্ন (habitual/general) অর্থ হয়ে যায়।
❌ If you will study, you will pass.
✅ If you study, you will pass.
একই ভুল — if-clause-এ 'will' বসানো যাবে না, শুধু Present Simple ব্যবহার হবে।
